The member (26) further comprises at least one piece extending opposite the safety device (24). The member (26) has at least one weakening seam (46,48; 50; 52,54; 58,60) extending into the at least one piece and at least one portion (46A, 48A; 50A, 52A, 54A; 58A, 60A) is intended to be broken upon actuation of the air bag safety device (24).
