PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint filling method and a paint filling device which are small in size, save power, have little paint loss, and can efficiently replace the paint color supply. SOLUTION: A paint filling portion 11 to which a tip needle of a paint cartridge 35 can be connected is arranged on a table 2 for each paint color, and a smaller amount of paint is applied from each paint tank 30 for accommodating the paint for each paint color. A step of supplying to the paint filling portion, a step of moving the table and arranging one of the paint filling portions directly under the paint cartridge, and connecting the tip needle of the paint cartridge to the paint filling portion directly under the cartridge.
