To provide a sheet for a total heat exchange element, a total heat exchange element, a total heat exchanger, and a steam separation body that have improved a separation ratio of steam and gas other than steam while suppressing generation of a crack in a membrane thickness direction.SOLUTION: A sheet for a total heat exchange element includes: a porous member; and a membrane including an inorganic fiber with an average fiber diameter of 1-50 nm provided on one surface of the porous member. The membrane includes a dense membrane in which the inorganic fiber is orientated along a surface direction of the membrane and a coarse membrane whose inorganic fiber orientation is lower than that of the dense membrane. The dense membrane is present at least on the boundary surface of the porous member and the membrane, and on the surface of the membrane respectively, and is also present arbitrarily between the boundary surface and the surface of the membrane. The coarse membrane is present at least in a part of a region between the respective dense membranes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
