To provide a traffic signal control system which can appropriately perform signal control.SOLUTION: A traffic signal control system comprises: a plurality of traffic signal control machines; and a central device which notifies the plurality of traffic signal control machines of signal control commands, in which the central device has: an upper side control part which generates the signal control commands for every plurality of traffic signal control machines; and an upper side communication part which transmits the generated signal control commands to the plurality of traffic signal control machines, respectively, the plurality of traffic signal control machines have: lower side communication parts which receive the signal control command of an own machine; lower side control part which control a signal light device based on the received signal control commands; and lower side storage parts which store lower side accumulation data which is a data group of accumulating the received signal control commands of the own machine, and the lower side control parts control the signal light device based on the signal control command corresponding to a present date type and time among the signal control commands of the own machine included in the lower side accumulation data when poor communication is generated between it and the central device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
