To provide an algae culture system and an algae culture method in which an environment suitable for algae culture can be easily obtained.SOLUTION: An algae culture system 100 comprises: a heat treatment apparatus 2 which applies heating treatment to a nitrogen-containing organic substance to obtain first gas containing carbon dioxide, ammonia and water; an ammonia removing device 3 which removes the ammonia from the first gas to obtain second gas; a gas-liquid separation device 4 which applies gas-liquid separation treatment to the second gas to obtain third gas obtaining the carbon dioxide and first liquid containing water; and a culture device 6 which uses culture solution containing all or a part of the first liquid and algae, and cultures the algae.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
