To provide an aromatic odor providing device capable of efficiently providing an aromatic odor to a wearer at proper intensity, and an aromatic odor tool used therefor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an aromatic odor providing method for wearing aromatic odor discharge means including an aromatic odor component to a body of a wearer and providing an aromatic odor generated from the aromatic odor discharge means to a wearer. In a front side space region 1 of a body where a lifted air flow generated by heat from a body, the aromatic odor discharge means is not arranged on a snort ejection region 2 where a snort is directly applied and where a lower end of a nose is a base point and a cross section is gradually increased as advancing downward, on the other hand, the aromatic odor discharge means is arranged on each side region 3 which is provided on a left/right side of the snort ejection region 2 or a body proximate region 4 which is close to the body side than the snort ejection region 2 is provided. A vaporization amount for a unit time of the aromatic odor component from the aromatic odor discharge means is less than 0.1 mg/second. The aromatic odor discharged from the aromatic odor discharge means is transmitted to a convection flow generated by the lifted air flow and the snort, thereby being supplied to the nose of the wearer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
