PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire position information of high precision.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a remote monitoring system which remotely monitors an agricultural machine, which comprises means for acquiring position information and operation information on a machine body and a means for transmitting the acquired position information and operation information. The position information on the machine body transmitted from the agricultural machine is corrected based upon the operation information on the machine body transmitted from the agricultural machine. The operation information on the agricultural machine is a vehicle speed, and when the position information has change and the acquired vehicle speed is 0, it is determined that the acquired position information includes a position shift, and the position information having the change is corrected into a value right before the vehicle speed becomes 0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
