To provide a processing apparatus that eliminates the need for a sophisticated decontamination processing facility when a digestive liquid that is a methane fermentation residue is processed, and a processing method for the same.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus of a digestive liquid in methane fermentation of an organic material of this invention comprises: a methane fermentation tank 1 that ferments the organic material; a digestive liquid tank 2 that is connected to the methane fermentation tank and stores the digestive liquid formed in the fermentation tank; and a reduced pressure fermentation drying device A that is connected to the digestive liquid tank, stores the digestive liquid in a closed container, agitates while heating the digestive liquid in a predetermined temperature range under reduced pressure, causes organic components of the organic material to be decomposed using microbes, and forms dried matters reduced in volume.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
