PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste treatment apparatus which not only performs the efficient treatment of a digestive liquid generated in methane fermentation of organic wastes but also has various advantages.SOLUTION: The organic waste treatment apparatus is provided with: a pretreatment unit 100; a methane fermentation unit 200; a digestive liquid storage tank 301; a tank 302 for storing phosphoric acid-containing water; a storage tank decompression unit 303; and a device 400 for preparing the component of a remaining digestive liquid. A magnesium compound 20 is added to the tank 302, and then the decompression unit 303 is driven. When the tanks 302 and 301 are decompressed, the ammonia gas 18 generated from the digestive liquid 16 in the tank 301 is introduced into the tank 302 to contact the phosphoric acid-containing water 19, thus precipitating magnesium ammonium phosphate 22. The remaining digestive liquid 23 can be returned as a dilution water 31 for the pretreatment unit 100 after neutralizing in the device 400.
