To provide an adhesive layer for an optical film having excellent heat resistance and durability, to be used for laminating an optical film to be assembled in an image display device, an adhesive film for an optical film, and an adhesive composition for an optical film, for producing the above adhesive layer or the adhesive film.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for an optical film comprises an acrylic polymer: the acrylic polymer comprises a copolymer prepared by copolymerizing 100 pts.wt in total of at least two monomers selected from a monomer group consisting of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (a1), a (meth)acrylate monomer (a2) having an aromatic group, and a nitrogen-containing vinyl monomer (a3), 0.1 to 10.0 pts.wt of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer containing a carboxyl group, and 0.05 to 4.5 pts.wt of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer containing a hydroxyl group, and having a Tg of -60°C or higher and -30°C or lower. The acrylic polymer contains 51 to 95 pts.wt of at least one of (a1), 3 to 25 pts.wt of (a2), and/or 2 to 20 pts.wt of (a3).SELECTED DRAWING: None
