PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip processing apparatus of a machine tool capable of automatically adjusting the posture of a nozzle so that coolant is discharged toward a chip accumulation site. SOLUTION: The chip processing apparatus of a machine tool is provided with a cleaning nozzle control unit 30 for controlling a cleaning nozzle that injects a cleaning fluid onto chips scattered during machining and guides the chips to a chip collecting unit. The cleaning nozzle control unit 30 is set to the position estimation unit 31 that estimates the deposition position of the generated chips by analyzing the processing conditions of the workpiece, and the deposition position estimated by the position estimation unit 31.
