Short-chain polyethylene homopolymers with improved grinding capacity

A polyethylene homopolymer having improved grindability, prepared with a metallocene catalyst system and is characterized by a melt viscosity of 5 to 60 mPa·s at 140° C. and a ram penetration hardness ranging from 210 to 500 bar, as measured according to DGF M-III 9e, and to use thereof as a component in toners, hot-melt adhesives or pigment master batches.
