LIGHT, EFFICIENT FOGHORN FOR USE IN OFFSHORE WIND FARMS

The invention relates to a light and efficient foghorn for use in offshore wind farms. Such a foghorn has two horn antennas (100), which are designed as directed horn antennas having a defined radiation characteristic. The horn antennas are arranged at a distance from one another with the same horizontal orientation and are controlled such that they emit an acoustic signal in a phase-synchronous manner. A plurality of foghorns according to the invention in a wind farm can likewise be controlled so as to emit signals in phase-synchronous manner.
