The present invention relates to multipurpose scissors and, more specifically, to multipurpose scissors wherein scissors, which are used as kitchen utensils having a cutting means, can be used to mince garlic, scale fish, and the like. Particularly, the present invention provides multipurpose scissors wherein an upper scissor part and a lower scissor part are connected by a rotating shaft pin, blades are formed on the front end of the rotating shaft pin so as to face the upper and lower scissor parts, respectively, and upper and lower handles are provided on the rear end of the rotating shaft pin such that the upper and lower scissor parts can be grasped to conduct cutting operations. The multipurpose scissors are characterized by comprising: a compression portion having multiple corrugated surfaces formed on friction surfaces of the upper and lower handles, respectively, so as to engage with each other; and a garlic-mincing portion comprising a sloping guide surface formed inside the compression portion such that garlic minced through the compression portion is discharged in one direction, and a discharge guide portion having a discharge groove formed thereon.
