Provided is a method and device for removing internal organs from a fish body with which it is possible to accurately and efficiently remove internal organs from the abdominal cavity of a fish body from which the head has been cut off. In this method for removing internal organs from a fish body, a fish body A from which the head has been cut off and removed is transferred by a transfer device 2. An abdominal part is cut opened with an abdominal blade 32 during the transfer. The fish body is then transferred to an internal organ removal member 40 so that a pair of left and right lining separation blades 41, 41 provided at an upper end part of the internal organ removal member 40 enter between peritoneum sections A5, A5 and inner fish meat walls A7 on both sides of the vertebrae A6 in a cross section A1 of the head of the fish body A.
