An apparatus (1) and a method for controlling a fluid flow in, into or out of a well, and an orientation means for orienting the apparatus in the well, the apparatus (1) comprising: a main flow channel (5) having an inlet (4) and an outlet (8) being in fluid communication with the fluid flow; at least one chamber (50) arranged in fluid communication with the main flow channel (5), the chamber (50) having at least one flow control element (500) movable between a first non-blocking position and a second blocking position for the fluid flow between the inlet (4) and the outlet (8) of the main flow channel (5), the flow control element (500) movable in response to density of fluid in said chamber. The main flow channel (5) is provided with pressure changing means (70) causing a pressure differential in a fluid return conduit (60) providing fluid communication between said chamber (50) and a portion of the main flow channel (5), so that fluid in said chamber (50) is recirculated back to the main flow channel (5) when the main flow channel (5) is open.
