Disclosed are a cultivation method for a novel interspecific hybrid downy mildew resistant cucumis sativus variety and use thereof. The cultivation method comprises using high-generation selfing line CCMC of 'Changchun Mici' as the female parent and Cucumis sativus-Cucumis hystrix Chakr introgression line material IL52 as the male parent to perform hybridization to obtain F1, subjecting the hybrid F1 to selfing to obtain F2, and continuing to construct an F6 recombinant selfing line by means of single seed descend method; performing phenotypic statistics of natural incidence of downy mildew in adult plants in the field for four years on recombinant inbred line populations to screen out single recombinant plants having high resistance and good fruit commerciality; and using backcrossing and molecular marker-assisted selection to obtain single plants of which genotypes within dm5.2 segment are consistent with IL52 banding pattern, while other chromosome segments having'Changchun Mici' banding patterns, i.e. the novel interspecific hybrid downy mildew resistant Cucumis sativus variety.
