This rotation angle detection sensor (5) is provided with a fixed substrate (51) and a brush (50) attached to a rotating body (43). The substrate is provided with a first conductive part (55) which has a discontinuous surface in the direction of rotation of the rotating body, and a second conductive part (56) which is formed in the rotation direction and which is arranged in a position different from that of the first conductive part in the radial direction of the rotating body. The brush is provided with a first contact part (50a) which contacts the first conductive part, and a second contact part (50b) which contacts the second conductive part.
