The use of one or more fatty acid derivatives of the formula (I) wherein R¹ is an alkyl group containing 5 to 17 carbon atoms, which is linear or branched R², R³ are, independently, hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or hydroxymethyl with the proviso that one of R² and R³ is hydrogen and the other is different from hydrogen m, n are numbers from 0 to 17, with the proviso that m + n ≥1, and m + n + p 18 where the different monomers can be arranged in statistical order, alternatingly or as a block copolymer; R⁴ is hydrogen or an alkyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, which is linear or branched, can improve wettability, retention and/or the uptake of agrochemical actives in and on target organisms, wherein the agrochemical actives are different from the fatty acid derivatives of formula (I).
