Liquid agrochemical adjuvant comprising alkoxylated polyalkyl-phenol derivative surfactant(s) and fatty acid ester(s), having synergistic effect in improving effect of active agents, especially herbicides

A new liquid adjuvant (I) comprises (a) one or more alkoxylated polyalkyl-phenol derivative surfactant(s) (II) and (b) one or more fatty acid ester(s). A new liquid adjuvant (I) comprises: (a) one or more surfactant(s) of formula Ar-O-(CHR1-CHR2-O)y-R3 (II); and (b) one or more fatty acid ester(s). Ar = aryl, substituted by two or more 1-30C alkyl groups; R1, R2 = H or 1-6C alkyl; R3 = H, optionally substituted 1-30C hydrocarbyl or a sulfonate, phosphonate or acyl residue; y = 1-100. Independent claims are included for: (i) the preparation of (I), by mixing the components with each other; (ii) agrochemical compositions comprising (I) plus agrochemical active agent(s) (A); and (iii) the preparation of the compositions (ii), by mixing the components with each other.
