The invention relates to a transport assembly comprising a first vehicle which is designed as a delivery vehicle (2) for inner-city logistics and which has a loading area (3) and a store (4) that receives the transport goods in the loading area (3), a roof (7) being located over the loading area (3), and comprising a second smaller distribution vehicle (9) which can selectively be received in the loading area (3) or can be driven out of the loading area (3), wherein the distribution vehicle (9) can be moved out of the loading area (3) through an opening (29) provided in the roof (7) into a raised rest position, in which the distribution vehicle is received by the delivery vehicle (2), without reducing the capacity of the store.
