The present invention relates to an automatic fire extinguishing system for detecting a fire and preventing the fire from spreading in an energy-saving system (ESS), to prevent an explosion of the ESS. According to the present invention, the automatic fire extinguishing system comprises: an ESS storing a plurality of lithium ion batteries and having a plurality of nozzles installed on one surface; a piping unit inducting air from the ESS; a fire sign detection unit including a smoke detection module inducting the air from the ESS to detect smoke and an infrared camera module measuring a temperature change in the ESS; a monitoring unit connected to the smoke detection module to perform data-communication with the smoke detection module; a powder extinguisher unit; a liquid extinguisher unit; and an aerosol extinguisher unit.
