The present invention relates to an active bumper (1) suitable for a sensor, which is applied to an autonomous vehicle (100) and comprises: a bumper cover (10) which forms a curvature shape unit around a sensor cover hole (11) through which irradiated light of a LiDAR is discharged; a multiple flap (20) which is coupled to a guide housing (50) formed on the inside of the bumper cover (10) in order to open or close the sensor cover hole (11) by the movement by means of a bent structure; and a flap rotation member (30, 40, 50, 80) which is composed of a rotation member (80) to convert the rotation of a flap rod (40) connected to an actuator (30) into moving power of the multiple flap (20). Therefore, the bumper cover (10) is converted into an open structure only when the LiDAR is operated, in order to prevent the LiDAR from being contaminated or broken due to a rough road, parking or stopping, rain, snow, and bad weather. In particular, the bent type multiple flap (20) can remove the interference of an area of the irradiated light of the LiDAR, thereby achieving freedom in designing the curvature shape at the lower end portion of the bumper cover (10).
