Provided are a system and a method for providing a hybrid counseling service by using a chatbot. The method for providing a hybrid counseling service, by a server, comprises the steps of: receiving a counseling request message from a customer terminal; requesting for counseling to a chatbot or a counselor client; monitoring counseling conducted by the chatbot or the counselor client; matching a counselor client corresponding to the chatbot and requesting for transferring counseling to the matched counselor client, when it is determined that the counseling by the chatbot is not conducted smoothly; and transferring the counseling to a chatbot corresponding to the counselor client, when a user determines that the counseling can be conducted by the chatbot and sends a transfer request to a server while the counselor client is conducting the counseling.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
