The present invention relates to a bacterium subtilis strain isolated from the soil of Gurye-gun and having antibacterial activity against plant pathogens and a composition for promoting and controlling growth using the same.Bacillus subtilissp. isolated from the soil of Gurye-gun of the present invention has a control activity against the mildew of the culture medium or the culture medium extract and has a growth promoting effect on crops.
