It is a powder for forming a black light-shielding film containing magnesium and/or aluminum with zirconium nitride as a main component with a specific surface area of 20 to 90 m 2 /g measured by the BET method. When magnesium is contained, the content ratio of magnesium is 0.01 to 1.0 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the black light-shielding film-forming powder, and when aluminum is contained, the content ratio of aluminum is 0.01 to 100 mass% of the black light-shielding film-forming powder.
