In some examples, a method includes: receiving network location information for virtualization equipment with a computer virtualization scheduler; Receiving network utilization information for virtualization equipment with the computer virtualization scheduler; and determining the virtualization workload placement with the computer virtualization scheduler and based on the received network location information and the received network utilization information to maximize available network bandwidth and minimize network latency between virtualization equipment.
