The invention relates to an oscillating membrane pump having at least one mobile part (20), which is movably arranged relative to a fixed part (30), wherein the mobile part (20) is driven and the mobile part itself drives a displacement element (40) of the displacement pump (1), wherein an electromagnetic drive (10) is provided as a drive, on which (10) a plurality of coils (41) and permanent magnets (42) are provided and the plurality of coils (41) or the plurality of permanent magnets (42) are each arranged on the mobile part (20) of the drive (10). At least one guide member (50a, 50b) is provided on the drive (10), which guide member permits the mobile part (20) to move along solely one translational degree of freedom. A measurement and control unit (45), having a data memory and a data processing device, which measurement control unit processes a position signal of the mobile part (20) and the strength of the drive current as a measurement and/or control parameter, is associated with the membrane pump. The invention further relates to an arrangement of a plurality of such displacement pumps and to a method for operating at least one such oscillating membrane pump.
