Short-Circuit Evaluation of Boolean Expressions

摘要

The derivation of an algorithm for generating control structure code for boolean expressions is presented, which turns out to create optimal branch code in a single pass over the expression without a need to store intermediate information or to patch the code of previously generated branches.
