The publication presents the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United Statesannotated numbers, under each of the cotton, wool, man-made fiber, silk blends and other vegetable fiber categories used by the United States in monitoring imports of these textile products and in the administration of the bilateral agreements. Some descriptions presented in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule have been simplified and abbreviated in this publication. These simplified descriptions, however, are not intended to modify, change or contradict in any way the substance or meaning of the descriptions (as qualified by the headnotes) presented in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
