Overcoming Barriers to Implementation and Integration of Clinical InformationManagement Systems: Feasibility Study. Final Report and Executive Summary

摘要

The purpose of the feasibility study was twofold: (1) to determine thepracticality of studying the barriers to implementation and integration of advanced clinical information systems, and (2) to specify the type of research design for an implementation study to investigate these issues. This report presents the design for a major and feasible research study of integrated health care information systems and provides details on study feasibility, site selection, research design, and a data collection plan. Appendices include suggested survey instruments.
