The Technology Innovation Office (TIO) of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) has developed the Vendor Information System for Innovative Treatment Technologies (VISITT) to provide current information on innovative treatment technology for the remediation of contaminated sites. VISITT contains technology information submitted by developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of innovative treatment technology equipment and services. The database provides a means for innovative technology vendors to make their products and capabilities known to state, Federal, and private sector professionals. The VISITT update, Version 2.0, contains approximately 230 technologies from more than 140 vendors. In addition to the increase in technologies and vendors, Version 2.0 also contains updated information on Version 1.0 vendors and enhanced printing capabilities that allow easier comparison of technologies and vendors.
