Peace Corps (PC) can make substantial and lasting contributions to a hostcountry's development through collaborative projects in the Environment Sector, The Programming and Training System (PATS) Manual provides Peace Corps with a comprehensive approach to developing and managing effective projects across all sectors. This Supplement provides complementary information on key aspects of programming and training for the Environment Sector. The first section of the Supplement provides an overview of the Environment Sector's past, current, and potential projects, and explains how using PATS can enhance project development. Following this Introduction, four sections provide sector-specific information on program assessment, project development, training, and evaluation. These sections correspond directly to sections in the PATS Manual.
