User Profile for Researchers Studying Objects: Implications for Computer Systems

摘要

A group of twenty-five researchers who study objects was observed over a fouryear period. A variety of methods of data collection was used: observation, interview, questionnaires, and analysis of published materials. This report identifies the features needed in computer systems to facilitate the research of those who study objects. The researchers need to link objects with text, work with a variety of data types, and collaborate with colleagues over a computer network.
