This record of decision (ROD) completes the environmental review by the FederalAdministration (FRA) of the proposal by the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) to extend electric train operation from New Haven, CT, to Boston, MA. In this ROD, FRA approves Amtrak's proposal subject to the inclusion into the project of a number of measures to eliminate or minimize potential adverse environmental impacts.
