The purpose of this Statement is to establish standards for reporting on theFederal Government's stewardship over (1) certain resources entrusted to it, identified as stewarship property, plant, and equipment and stewardship investments, and (2) certain responsibilities assumed by it, identified as the current service assessment. The stewardship objective requires that the Federal Government 'report on the broad outcomes of its actions.'
