Though every outreach worker, every client, and every community is different,outreach workers all have one thing in common: they are always reaching--reaching out to clients, reaching toward their goals, and reaching beyond expectations. This book is intended for three audiences: Outreach workers, who can use this information to continue to reach out to their communities; Outreach programs, both new and established, which can use this information to help their employees always reach, and who can learn how to enhance the impact of their programs by learning the lessons of those who have gone before; and Providers, agencies, and policymakers, who can use this information to continue to broaden the scope of health care systems.
