One of the oldest divisions, Fluids Engineering Division (FED) was established in211u001e1926 to provide engineers in the fluids engineering field an open forum for 211u001ediscussion and to promote the art and science of fluids engineering to those 211u001einterested in research, design and fluids equipment use. Among these divisions 211u001eare Materials Division, which are mainly involved in information on properties of 211u001ematerials and the influence of these properties on design consideration in 211u001ematerials selection for engineering structures, and Materials Handling 211u001eEngineering Division, which is for information on systems engineering methods 211u001ethat integrate control technology, information technology, and material transport 211u001eequipment to provide efficient, safe, and economical material handling.
