The purpose of this document is to describe completed and ongoing pilot211u001edemonstrations and full-scale applications on in situ chemical oxidation 211u001etechnologies for the remediation of soil and ground water at waste disposal and 211u001espill sites. Information for this report came from commercial and government 211u001edatabases, such as the Dialog Information Services and the Environmental 211u001eProtection Agency's (EPA) Vendor Information System for Innovative Treatment 211u001eTechnologies (VISITT). Additional materials were obtained from EPA Regional 211u001eOffices, Department of Energy staff at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and 211u001eWestinghouse Savannah River, Department of Defense site staff, and Battelle 211u001eLaboratories. Personal interviews and discussions with representatives of EPA and 211u001eother federal agencies, state environmental quality offices, academic research 211u001ecenters, hazardous waste remediation consulting firms, and technology vendors 211u001eprovided supplementary information.
