Multi-Box Beam Bridges with Composite Deck

摘要

This report describes the study of lateral distribution factors and control of211u001elongitudinal cracking in multi-beam prestressed concrete box girder bridges with 211u001ecomposite concrete deck slab. Researchers developed recommended values for 211u001elateral distribution factors for 22 different Texas Department of Transportation 211u001e(TxDOT) bridge configurations. Formulas and tables for predicting the maximum 211u001evalues of transverse moment in the deck slab from American Association of State 211u001eHighway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) truck loadings are presented. 211u001eRecommendations for control of longitudinal deck cracking are made.
