WSDOT BMP's for Stormwater Runoff in Confined Spaces

Currently, there is insufficient in determine which BMPs are most effictive in211u001econfined areas, or what are each BMP's associated construction and maintenance 211u001ecosts. Furthermore, no specific data is available from the State of Washington. 211u001eThe overall objectives of this project are to provide data concerning 211u001eperformance, operation and maintenance requirements for confined areas BMPs and 211u001eto evaluate the effectiveness of various filter media for use in filtration 211u001evaults. Such data will help WSDOT personnel specify stormwater quality 211u001eimprovement projects that satisfy water quality goals with the least cost, the 211u001ehighest likelihood of success, and the greatest environmental benefit.
