In this paper plane wave reflection and transmission phenomena in slabs of211u001eartificial anisotropic chiral media taking into account dielectric and magnetic 211u001eproperties are theoretically considered. The artificial medium is a superlattice 211u001eof chiral layers and anisotropic magnetic layers. Biaxial symmetry of the medium 211u001eis defined by the direction of spiral inclusions (unit vector a) and the 211u001edirection normal to the interfaces between layers. Normal incidence is assumed. 211u001eThe effect of compensation of magnetic and dielectric anisotropy is discussed. 211u001eConstruction of a new device which is based on this effect is proposed.
