This tool is called the Right of Way and Utility Adjustment Duration Information System (RUDI). It is an innovative tool that reviews a historical data directory to make intelligent predictions of time to acquire R/W and adjust utilities. RUDI is the first functional model of this type of decision assistance tool. RUDI is believed to be a wise first step toward providing a knowledgeable advisory of R/W project completion thereby supporting the mission of TxDOT to work cooperatively to provide safe, effective and efficient movement of people and goods.
