The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prepared this health consultation at the request of the Suquamish Tribe and the DOH Office of Shellfish and Water Protection (OSWP). The purpose of this health consultation is to evaluate geoduck contaminant data from one geoduck tract located between Edmonds, Washington, and Shilshoe Bay Marina in Seattle, Washington and to make recommendations for actions that ensure the publics health is protected. DOH prepares health consultations under a cooperative agreement with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).
