Third (3rd) Congress of the International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics, Program Book

摘要

The 3rd Congress is being held October 21-23, 2009, at the Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, MD, and consists of seven sessions in keeping with the theme of the meeting. Sessions 1 and 2 address Frontiers in Nutrigenetics; Session 3 focuses in Epigenetics; Session 4 addresses the impact of Transcriptomics in Nutrigentics; Session 5 centers on Noncoding RNAs and Posttranslational Gene Regulation; Session 6 explores Moving Beyond Geomics; and Session 7 focuses on Frontiers in Nutrigenetics/Nutriggeonomics. Building Partnerships--the challenges and opportunities facing governments, international organizations, academia, and industry. Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics represent the future for both primary and secondary disease prevention and treatment. Ultimately, research in these areas will lead to production of new and novel foods for human growth and development throughout the life cycle, health maintenance, and disease prevention and treatment.
