This will not only cause serious injuries to the workpiece but will also force the working parts of the machine out of perfect alignment. Once such a misalignment takes place in the tables, gears, spindles, feed screws, or other parts, even the sharpest tools prepared and set with the greatest care will not produce the accuracy which shopmen are anxious to deliver.
