Studies of titanate systems have been continued.nPhase equilibrium studies of the binary system BaTiO3-CaTiO3 are complete and a technical report describing our work is appended to this report. Other systems nearing completion are BaT103-Si02 and BaTiO3-BaCl2. Crystal structure studies of BaTi2O5 are essentially complete and a manuscript describing the results should be appended to the next report.nA second technical report on the crystal chemistry of the perovskite structure is also attached describing a large number of new phases with this structure and potential dielectric interest. A large number of compounds have been prepared in an attempt to repeat the perovskite study for the quartz structure.nStudies on the hydroxyl micas under hydrothermal conditions are being continued.
