This problem is insoluble but all of the studies thus far suggest that this is so present investigations are continuing in two ways: (1) we are hoping to find an easily measarable indicator , that is excreted BOBS three to four times as fast as bromsulfalain, and (2) we are studying the possible parameters which account for the inequality described in the first study. Under the first category was are considering the possibility of using diodrest as an indicator. At the present time this indicator is difficult to measure with the desired accuracy, and the form tagged with I 131 is prohibitively expensive, In any event, it would be premature to completely discard the double indicator method until all possibilities have been excluded.
