AN INVESTIGATION OF EXACT SOLUTIONS FOR TWO-DIMENSIONAL STEADY IRROTATIONAL ISENTROPIC FLOW OF A POLYTROPIC GAS

The purpose of this thesis, as stated in chapter 2, was the production of further exact solutions to the flow equation. These solutions have been formed as polynomials in a velocity co-ordinate multiplied with a function of the angular position.
