This report covers the development and testing of a 90,000 Btu/hour, multifuel, electric-motor-driven, space heater for use primarily in heating the Complete Assembly Structure (CAS building) which was procured by all branches of the Armed Forces in coordina¬tion with the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project. The tests de¬scribed are for climatic suitability of the heater under actual arctic conditions, engineering tests, endurance tests, and service tests.
